It's Tag Time

Hello lovely people,

I have completed a little tag for you all which Soph also did a while back (you can read it here to compare our answers!) and I thought I would give it a go.

I really enjoy doing tags on here but I struggle to find them on the internet (I must be looking in the wrong places) so please let me know if there's any out there we haven't already done that you'd maybe like to see?!

What is your current fashion obsession? 

Plain thin sweatshirts. I have a grey one and a burgundy/red one which I wear loads. I love the fact you can accessorize with them which means you can create several 'outfits' depending on how you feel!

What is your current makeup obsession? 

I think I'm going to have to go with eyeshadow - I've been doing a fair bit of experimenting (and purchasing....) and I'm really liking the outcomes!

What are you wearing today? 

Trackies. It's a revision day for me!

Hair? 

Down or in my little top knot bun if it's annoying me (quite often).

What would you like to learn to do?

I have developed a little obsession with Tap Dancing so yes I would like to learn to Tap Dance!

What are you listening to right now?

Heart Radio - isn't Who's On Heart taking ages?! I want someone to win the cash already!!!

What is your favorite weather?

Sunny and warm but with a slight breeze.

What's the last thing you bought?

Two palettes from Stila - you can read here!

What are your essentials when traveling? 

Hand Sanitiser

Tissues

Comfy Clothes

An ipod or some form of music

What's your style?

This is quite hard to answer! In general I like really girly things - dresses, blouses and collared tops. But I don't think I have a particular style as yet!

What is your most challenging goal right now? 

Getting some exams results....

If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be? 

Oh my.... maybe a holiday home in Miami or something?!

Favorite vacation spot? 

Some of the best memories I have are from holidaying in Italy so I think I shall choose that!

What would you like to have in your hands right now? 

A ticket to see Adele sing live.

What would you like to get rid of? 

All the 'baddies' in the world.

What are you most excited for? 

Bringing our new puppy, Lottie (yes we have named her!!) home in 24 days!!!!

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?

I would go to central London to have Tea in Fortnum and Mason and then then go to the Harrods pet department... not to buy, just to look!!!! 

I love a posh day out - it rarely happens so it's such an exciting treat when it does!

Beauty Tag!

Hello!
I'm pretty sure this is an old tag but I really wanted to do one and this took my fancy!
Do comment if you've done it yourself, or if you are going to do it and I will definitely have a look!

What's your favorite make up look?

At the moment I’m loving the what-I-call “peaches and cream” look. I have very pale skin and I am enjoying using peachy blush colours and coral / peach lipsticks.

What is your must-have beauty product?

For me, an under eye cream is really important. Right now I’m using Laura Mercier’s “Secret Concealer” which is really helping to hide the dark circles under my eyes!!

What part of your body do you love?

I am very blessed to have thick, fairly long hair. It is a strange colour (goldey, brownish, sometimes a tiny bit ginger), but I am often complimented on it and I am lucky that it has lots of volume too.

Personally, I think I have nice teeth! I had awful, horrendous baby teeth, but my adult ones have turned out to be fine and I have had braces so they are perfectly straight....a smile is so important to me!

Who is your beauty icon?

I have a fair few “beauty icons” or “beauty envy’s”... here’s the first ones that spring to mind:

Marilyn Monroe - I’m sorry how could you think she isn’t beautiful?!

Adele - always envious of her perfect eyeliner and amazing nails

Katy Perry - sometimes she’s a little OTT but can pull off the glamourous look I absolutely love so amazingly.

Emma Watson - Generally she has the perfect natural look

Zoella - yes I have a slight obsession!!

What beauty product makes you feel instantly good?

Recently I have gone a little bit crazy about lipstick so I will go for that... it makes me feel a little more glam! (yes I am wearing some today even though I’ve got trackies on and I’m not leaving the house...)

How do you look after your skin?

I am incredibly lucky to have non-troublesome skin, obviously there’s the odd annoyance but overall it’s pretty good so I don’t spend too much time looking after it. I’m using the Bare Minerals Deep Cleansing Foam at the moment which my Mum gave to me because she got it in a set (I think) and didn’t need it. I also moisturize frequently and occasionally use a face scrub or some form of pore cleansing thing.

What is your hair care secrets?

I brush my at least twice a day (sometimes more because I find it quite enjoyable) and wash it every other day with Herbal Essences shampoo / conditioners. I never blow dry it myself and rarely ever straighten or curl it because I can’t be bothered... so it doesn’t get much heat exposure!

How do you pamper yourself?

I love a nice bubble bath and do enjoy a “mini pamper evening” of being in there for ages before applying a nice body butter and using a mask or cleansing my face whilst it soaks in. I will then sort my nails out as they are often in awful condition because I bite them. I AM SO JEALOUS of Soph’s nails... they are Perfection with a capital P.

What is your beauty annoyance?

The thing that annoys me most is when people use far too much foundation and look completely orange. I really don’t think it’s necessary, it’s not a very good look and is probably not great for your skin.

What would your desert island must haves be?

*A good book

*A few cartons of apple juice

*Some ice cream

*the playstation game Singstar with all my favourite songs on it.

*A bag of make up I can "play with"

*suncream

*sunglasses

*A bikini

*a pretty dress

*my hairbrush

*Someone fun to keep me company (la Blogmate is an ideal candidate)

Oh hello there!

So yes I have had dress rehearsals all this week so I am afraid I am opting for an easy option and completing another tag! I hope you enjoy!!

What is your current fashion obsession? - Collared tops, I cannot get enough

What is your current makeup obsession? - I am into brow filler after an unfortunate incident with a brow shaper..

What are you wearing today? - Wet look leggings, black top with a white peter pan collar and 3/4 length

Do you nap a lot? - Nope never 

Why is today special? - It is mothers day!!!!

What would you like to learn to do? - speak another language fluently!

What's for dinner today? - I went out for dinner and oh my it was fan-tab-u-lous! I had ham waffle with maple syrup (don't knock it until you try it!) and then chocolate mouse waffle. TO DIE FOR.

What are you listening to right now? - Right now Zoes and Joes new video 

What is your favorite weather? - SUNNNYYYYYYYY

What's the last thing you bought? - A bunch of flowers for mumma 

What are your essentials when traveling? - Knickers, toothbrush and deodorant  Then make up, skin care and clothes (etc)

What's your style?- erm I don't really have an answer for this? Whatever takes my fancy really!

So this has been flying around and I thought after reading the 10th post I should take a crack at it!

1. When did you start your blog?

We started out blog on Thursday the 21st of February 2013 (newbies!!)

2. Have you had any past online presence before? (YouTube, Blog)

I have a tumblr blog? Does that count..? But the pictures aren't anthing to do with me they just fit into my chosen theme! 

3. Why did you start your blog?

Because we got so over excited about the idea we could one day be sent products for free ahaha - no well bloggy pally has lots of free time and we are really into make up and so on! We thought it would be a good mini project!

4. When did you become serious about your blog?

Literally the second we got it.. We love it on here!  

5. What was your first post?

We did a cute little welcome post!

6.What has been your biggest challenge about blogging?

For me it is finding time to sit and write a post  - I have tons of homework and I have rehersals most days! I am writing this at 12.30 am so I am writing whenever I have time!!

7.Where do you see your blog in 1 year time? 

Hopefully full of exciting and interesting posts getting lots of page views

8. What is the most rewarding this about blogging? 

Getting comments or a new record of page views and seeing how happy it makes my little blog pal

9. What is the discouraging thing that happens to you?

When I see the really professional blogs with pr tabs and thinking wahhhh I want that ahaha

10. What's your lasting inspiration or motivation?
